Levi’s x Hello Kitty
Iconic apparel brand Levi Strauss and Sanrio teamed up to honour Hello Kitty’s 45th anniversary with a new collection. To draw attention to the collaboration, Bomper worked with Levi Strauss to create a film that was displayed on their ‘bat wing’ window displays at the brand’s flagship store on Market Street in San Francisco.
A mixed media approach – combining illustration, photography, 2D, motion graphics and full 3D CGI – was used to pull in the fun and zany energy of Japanese television commercials. The final result was a looped film that captures the ‘kawaii’ culture and celebrates the Hello Kitty’s self expression.
